استقبل رئيس الحزب التقدمي الاشتراكي وليد جنبلاط في كليمنصو رئيس "المحفل الأكبر للبنائين الأحرار والمقبولين في لبنان" السيد رافي تيمونيان، الذي سلّمه شهادة تقدير وشرف من المحفل الأكبر للبّنائين في نيويورك تقديراً لدور جنبلاط وجهوده كرجل دولة حقيقي في أصعب الظروف التي مرّ ويمرّ بها لبنان.

The honourable Walid Kamal Joumblatt's nurturing and magnanimous posture as a true Statesman during the most difficult of times in the Republic of Lebanon has left an indelible and indisputable positive impact and image upon the brethren of our noble order and this community.

The resolute qualities of understanding, service, and compassion demonstrated through his didactic and voluntary offering of service to our fellow brothers of the District Grand Lodge of Syria-Lebanon, holding under the grand lodge of free and accepted Masons of the State of New York, come easily from his warm, joyful and generous heart.

The humanitarian Albert Schweitzer has aptly said, "Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing". With much gratitude and heartfelt appreciation, we delight in the good works performed by this kind and devoted servant and Statesman.
